Before our last class you had online assignments. I will grade them soon and you can see your grades on HAC. Then you can improve them if you want to.

HOW EXTRA CREDIT WORKS
Every week pick a few kinds of school work from the list below.
When we have class again

you can show me what you wrote,

or say what you memorized,
and I’ll ask you questions about what you read
and give you extra credit

EXTRA CREDIT LIST
+ Read any book or short story, including fan fiction or books.Google.com.
+ Write a story in the style of some author.
+ Write a fable (a simple story, often about animals, that gives valuable life advice).
+ Find an image that you like and write a fictional story based on it.
+ Write about your actual reaction to an image.
+ Listen to a play, song, or poem. Write about your reaction to it.
+ Find a poem or song and say/sing it until you memorize it.
+ Research something you’re interested in and write an article explaining it.+ Write a play with some of the issues from Antigone.+ Work with friends online to write a story, poem, play, or article. Type it on docs.Google.com. Share it with friends and edit each other’s work. When you’re done I’ll look at the writing and the comments you sent each other.
+ Email me with some other kinds of school work that you think I should add onto this list.
